The Xero Flor company has been created in 1996 out of passion for the green. We wanted green to be more visible not only on the ground, but also on the roofs. As a relatively young enterprise, initially we have drawn from the 30 years’ experience of the German Xero Flor company. To be able to produce rolled lawns and vegetation mats, we needed a properly large space, which we in the areas near Szprotawa (the Lubuskie voivodeship). An appropriate soil type, long period of plant vegetation, together with a peculiar charm of a beautiful forest area have all been the decisive factors to create a plantation right there and nowhere else. Through a series of years, the cultivation of rolled lawns and vegetation mats has increased year to year and, in result, the area of crops enlarged from 65 ha to nearly 250 ha in 2004.

Thanks to the efforts of the company Manager, Mr. Stanisław WoŸniak and the entire staff of 10 people, the products of the Xero Flor company are becoming more and more renown on the Polish market. Moreover, annual participation in numerous fair, such as the Polagra or Budma, result in enhanced sales rate and increased interest in green roofs. Many Polish and foreign companies have been convinced about the attractiveness of the offer by the Xero Flow, which is connected with the production of rolled lawns and green roof systems. Our company has initiated cooperation with contractors from Switzerland, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Since 2004, we have begun our cooperation with firms from Lithuania and Ukraine. Our products have drawn remarkable interest on the Building & Architecture fair in 2004 in Ukraine, where we have received a distinction for the best product presented during the fair - vegetation mats.
